With only 158 registered sporthorses on the ground end of 2003, Banditentraum managed to gain an impressive dressage index of 129 in the FN-breed stats including values of 145 for trot, and 137 for rideability. He was everybody's darling at his licensing in 1986, then went straight on to win his stallion performance test at Warendorf scoring a total index of 130.39 in 1987. On top of that he was entitled champion at the Trakehner Verband's qualifying for Bundeschampionate in 1988.
He is a proven producer of exceptional movers in various breeds fx Trakehner, Oldenburger, Westfalian and Hanoverian. His Trakehner daughter Kira K celebrated super success in the German dressage scene with Ingrid Klimke before she was withdrawn from her and moved to a new trainer. Before her disappearing the couple had an impeccable start winning S-level tests in their very first show.
Banditentraum is the sire to three foals from Germanhorseconnection breeding:SPS Alliage had two colts by him both of which turned to be successfull dressage competitors.
The elder Bijou *in 1996 was currently Banditentraum's highest winning offspring altogether during the 2002 season and upgraded to M-level in the 2003 season before he sold to a non-showing home in Cologne. The younger Brisco is featured on a page of his own.
Our last Banditentraum-progeny is SPS Dune's first foal SPA Bonne Chance who is American owned and had the first foal of her own Bahia Breeze by Benetton DreamBenetton Dream[/horse2] in 2009.
