Contender is undoubtfully one of the most influential Holsteiners at present. He sired no less than 31 sons approved with various registries among them names like Contendro, Concetto, Cashman, Condor M, Captain Paul or Cordobes I. Most of his children are registered Holsteiner or Oldenburg 46 of them showing jumpers at S-level 6 at S-level dressage he even has S-level offspring in the smaller (by number in Germany) disciplines such as carriage driving and three day eventing so he counts for a versatile producer who can improve the breed in all matters. His jumping index according to FN yearbook is enormous 154 while the dressage index is still significantly positive 116. All breeding scores according to Hanoverian stallion yearbook are far above average except for rear leg conformation with the focus being set on jumping ability, dressage ability and type. His offspring mostly comes dark colored and with a charming look. Contender was stationed at Paul Schockemöhles.
