Falkland owned by the Celle State Stud was bred by Hans Wisch, Geversdorf and reared by Hunnesrück Stallions Stud. He is particularly well known as a producer of progeny with double feature and far above average talent in dressage and jumping but also throws above average conformation, type and limbs regarding 2001 Hannoveraner Hengstbuch.
By now he has produced five licensed stallions two of them aproved with the GhV Farian and Frenchman. He also sired 17 States premium mares. One of them our SPS Farfadet.
Since Falkland is throwing big movement, eager temperaments and immortal forwardness his offspring is also eligible for three day eventing and matches well with mares that are lacking nerve or tend to be sleepy and suffer from weakness in condition.
Nevertheless his offspring needs a sensible rider so despite of their being solid in conformation they are working best with lady riders.
Recently Falklands daughter Farina, bred by E.Jordan, Ehra-Lessien won the four year olds class at Verden lose jumping contest (see HANNOVERANER issue April/2000) getting high scores of 9.5 on jumping technique and manner as well as on scope and ability. In addition she received scores of 8 on canter, type and overall impression and as a result a total score of 9.0. Riehe Farm also had a younger full brother to Farfadet named Fandango who was first sold to Gert Wiltfang, then was overtaken by Paul Schockemöhle after Wiltfang sadly died.
