Golden Deister has a striking personality and is trained to Grand Prix dressage and jumping. His first babies in the Hanoverian breed seem to all take on their sires supple, elastic movement. As Kareen is good friends with the lady rider who formerly trained and showed Golden Deister she values his kind attitude and trainability and found him to be a promising cross for her rather elegant and rather spirited Hannelore. Golden Deister's all hanoverian pedigree combines less prominent strains of the most influential Hanoverian bloodlines: The G-and W-line on the sires side (through Gotthard and SPS Feretria by Florentiner) and the D-line through Diskant (whose son Deister still is unforgotten through his multiple worldwide success in jumping.
Gepard is also present in the pedigree of Sandro Hit, winner of young dressage horse world-championships 2000.
