Domino is out of Piroschka born on a wholy sunday. Kareen was the one to find him on the pasture early that morning.
He was started by Karin Busse, Petershagen at three years old, then gelded as he started to become pretty dangerous for the cattle.
Kareen and Domino started their carreer in 1986 when Domino was 4 and Kareen 12 years old. They remained together for 10 years. Starting with equitation classes and beginner dressage tests Domino remained Kareens main show horse, carried her through the approvals for the bronze Riders award (in order to become a registered show rider), later on the silver award with respectable scores of 7.4 in dressage and 7.2 in jumping. They moved up the levels and won 7 regional chamionships, a row of City Masterships and several team contests together in dressage, jumping and combined training during Kareen's junior and young rider's years.
They sadly had to stop their carreer due to Kareen's vet studies and have at that time been showing at M-level.
Domino is now with Manuela Meschede who appreciates him as her schoolmaster and partner (see latest birthday picture) still healthy at 19 years old except for limited air supply.
We owe him a lot.
March 2002: We are mourning a great friend. Domino died peacefully. Thanks to Michaela who stayed with him until the very end and offered him a great home over the past 5 years. We won't forget you!
