Grace is from our 2nd generation, which makes her a granddaughter of our foundation mare SPS Firnbrot.
She has a lovely quiet personality she has consistently passed on to her offspring.
Unfortunately her fertility for us has been rather poor, however her offspring have been so pleasing to ride and have sold well for us so she stays in the programme regardless.

*2003 Celtic by Compliment (Sold as a yearling to a non-showing home in Westfalia)
*2006 Saviero (Sold to a non-showing home in Bavaria as a 2yo)

Sire info:Gotenkönig (formerly owned by the Celle state stud, now owned privately) is carrying the proven and increasingly rarifying blood of Grenadier and the thoroughbred Miracolo xx. Kareen had the pleasure to ride him herself once and was extremely impressed with his kind attitude and excellent behaviour under saddle easily performing correct GP movements that felt to come easily to him.
Dam's info:Piroschka was a daughter of Perser xx, a very reliable producer of top competition horses in his time and full brother to the more widely known Pik As xx. The female line goes back via DLG-Champion Firnis-Almjäger I-Aconit-Feiner Kerl for a full 14 generation female pedigree and belongs to the prosperous stem of SPS Anweisung. Numerous successful show horses and approved stallions have descended from this line. This string of horses has proven itself as being not only very successful but also long-lived and fertile: Anweisung herself was destroyed in 1957 at the age of 25 years and had produced 13 life foals. 5 of her daughters were titled States Premium mares amongst them our SPS Firnbrot's dam SPS Abeduta who had 9 foals: All of her female offspring Amtsjägerin, Firnrebe and Firnbrot became States Premium mares and from her 6 colts 5 were awarded licensing merits and were entered into the Celle State Stud, amogst them Amtsjäger I-IV.
Abeduta gave birth to her last foal at the age of 22, Firnbrot and her daughter Piroschka both at 21 before they were humanely destroyed at 24 years (Firnbrot) respectively 28 years (Piroschka) of age.
Our generations to follow seem to be walking in the same shoes: Gadina was 24 and had her last foal by her side when she suddenly had to be humanely destroyed in the summer of 2007 and was at the time pregnant again with what should have been her 14th foal.
Grace has been blessed with a robust constitution too and is in good health, going to turn 19 years old in 2012. She has - knockwood - thus far not caused us a single Euro in medication beside reproductive work, vaccinations and deworming.
