biography

Ramiro became a line founder and is still influential through his licensed sons in various German Warmbloodbreeds. Ritual, Raphael, Rebel Z I, II and III to name just a few of them.
He is primarily considered a jumper sire: 87 of his children have earned winnings up to S-level show jumpings but has also sired a couple of S-level Dressage horses. He is the sire of Ratina Z who is most likely his best known daughter and made it to the impressive amount of 1.663496,00 DM price money won over her competing years. She is now retired as a broodmare.
The indices earned by his daughters passing the going through MPT and inspections with the Hanoverian Verband clearly mark him as a sire who stamps his offspring with typiness and correct conformation (124) as well as outstanding canter and close to unlimited potential for the jumpers (152)
In the 70's Ramiro himself was highly successful in the international showjumping circuit ridden by Fritz Ligges who owned him those days. He ended his breeding carreer after standing in the Netherlands from 1980 on.
