Acord II had a good startoff producing well regarded performance horses from the very beginning of his career. As of 2001 he had 13 children competing at international level in show jumping. He is holding a jumping index of 163 while the dressage index is below average (84). We guess this is partly because he was bred to specific jumper mares as there are quite a number of his get who seem to have outstanding talent for the dressage ring as well. This observation matches with the scores Acords daughters regularly get at mare performance tests with the Hanoverian Verband:
Index of 118 for dressage ability with the canter and rideability (as expected from a Holsteiner) being his special features. Jumping index according to his daughters in performance tests was 151 in 2001 while his female get scored above average in both breeding type/riding horse points as well as limb conformation with a weak point being the saddle position.
Acord proved himself as the winner of Stallion performance test at Münster-Handorf (Westfalen) ranking 1st in jumping and 2nd in the dresssage department out of 60. his total index ended up being 146,04. He also successfully competed up to S-level in show jumping and was vice champion at Bundeschampionate in the jumper division in 1992.
As of 2001 there are 21 licensed stallions by him who are approved with different breeds. Three of them are approved with the Hanoverian breed Acorado (Maas Hell, Kl. Offenseth), Anthaeus (Amselhof, Walle) and As di Villagana (Celle State Stud).
In general Acord offspring has a reputation for being elegant and typey with a willing attitude and excellent jumping technique.
