Halifax passed his stallion performance test in 1999 (Neustadt/Dosse) and scored an outright 9 on handling, ability to perform and jumping ability. His rideability, trot and canter earned him an 8. He has served as a schoolmaster at shows with kids and young riders and has won series of L-level tests.
Entitled Section B Champion Stallion at the 2003 Weser-Ems-Stallionshow he was rated Premium stallion in 2004. The number of approved sons has long exceeded 15 and amongst them are Licensing Champions Hakuna Matata (o/o Ratje by Brillant), Harry Potter and Highlight as well as Reservechampions Holiday, Hip Hop and [URL=http://www.gestuet-kastanienhof.com/index.php?id=hot-cream-we]Hot Cream WE[/URL]. More than 10 of Halifax' daughters received States Premium titles for instance the Weser-Ems-Championmares Sandy’s Girl, Symphonie WE, Charlotta und Philena’s Touch, who finished 4th at the Province Championships in 2008 and won numerous ribbons in young horse classes against warmbloods.
Roy's Pippilotta by Halifax sold at the Vechta Elite auction. His progeny Hei-ti-tei und Huckleberry Finn were among the top sellers at the 1st Elite Pony Sales auction.
Halifax-son Hightrick (approved stallion standing at stud at Nendorf/Björn Heineking) was 6th at the Bundeschampionate (5yo jumping ponies). Hollywood was Vicebundeschampion in 2005 and 4th a year later as a 6yo. Another approved son was Hemmingway who sold to the US with Germanhorseconnection in 2003 after qualifying for Warendorf two years in a row and finishing 3rd at Rastede.
The sire Hasko (going back to Heros) was a prolific winner in harness over years. 6 of Halifax' paternal siblings became approved stallions one of them Bundeschampion Handsome Boy WE, ridden by Laura Klaphake.
The dam Elitemare Steehorst Love Bird, was multiple breedshow champion in the Netherlands and produced the approved stallion Askalon (by Astral) and States Premium Mare Betty (by Hasko).
Other shining stars originating in this damline have been Section B Licensing Champion Timing, Driving World Champion Tivoli (both by Tizian) as well as Steehorst Maestro by Eyarth Harlequin, Arendshoeve Magic Rio by Eyarth Rio, Twist-Hoeve’s Dennis and Twist Hoeve’s Rocky (both by Eyarth Harlequin), Wohld Corsar and Wohld Croupier both by Copper, Acapulco Gringo by Remo and Candy by Kirby Cane Juggler.
