Wujiwoo is Gadina's 13th foal and was custommade to keep as an addition to our mareband. We may need to sell her down the road as we also want to hold on to Stradivari (her younger sibling by Sunlight xx) however at this point she is to stay with us.
When her dam Gadina sadly left us abruptly in the summer of 2007 she was in foal again and had her 14th foal jumping around by her side. This exceptional mare has given us so much: Our first homebred States Premium awards (Alliage, Farfadet and Diva), our first Hanoverian approved stallion Don Aqui and Bundeschampionate Finalist, 'best family' awards at mareshows (1994 and 95) and priceless progeny in dressage, jumping and eventing. She is also the granddam of Bijou, Brisco (placings up to GP-level in dressage) and Djibouti (Children's Hunter Champion in the US).
Wujiwoo's sire Wogenbrecher can be righteously called an outcross sire. Amongst the very small foal crops he has had, there is a high percentage of successful jumpers and we value his bloodlines a lot so Wujiwoo will therefor continue our string of jumper breeding and preserves the valuable blood of two exceptional Hanoverian sires (Werther and Gardestern) on the sire's side.
Wujiwoo was started under saddle in 2009 and proved herself highly rideable and athletic. After passing our internal broodmare vet check incl. radiographs she took to her breeding career like a duck to water giving us a strong, athletic firstling colt by Arko III (today owned by Jil Edwards) and being a wonderful dam to him. For 2011 she is in foal to one of today's most favorite jumpers Coupe de Coer.
