Rosi was sold as a weanling to Linda Wilson of West Sussex, UK and raised on our property ever since.
Update October 6, 2009:
Rosi needs to be sold urgently due to a change in her owner's family circumstances. She comes with a life-insurance policy already paid for through July 25, 2010 and has a clean bill of health.
Rosi has matured into a true to type old fashioned mare who will be ready to undergo training in 2010. She is welcome to remain on board here with us for her grading and mare performance test and could also be bred in the spring to a stallion of the buyer's choice.
Same owner since weaning. She has always been on our property and undergone regular maintainance and full vaccinations for rhino, flu and tetanus.
Pedigree information: Sire Rascalino had already won 3462 Euro worth in price money as of 2008. He has also won numerous prestigeous shows including two S-level dressage competitions when he was just only a seven year old. Meanwhile his oldest progeny have just only come under saddle and interestingly two sons of his out of W-line mares have been preselected for the 2009 Verden fall auction (please check out videoclips in the video gallery).
Dam Wakaluba passed her mare performance test with high scores in the basic gaits and rideability section after only a few weeks of training and being 5 months in foal. Rosi's younger sister from 2007 Rizières by Blue Hors Romanov was retained for our mareband. Her 2009 brother Flirtini by Florencio belonged to Wakaluba's present owner and was sold to a Californian based dressage horse syndicate.
Rosi's dam is in foal again for 2010 so has been a very fertile and prepotent producer so far.
Both Rosis dam and granddam have screened free of OCD. She goes back to our foundation mare Piroschka who left us no less than 14 foals four of which have been retained for our breeding programme and all turned into successful broodmares themselves. Piroschka stems from one of the most prolific mare families with a terrific successrate in the depth constantly throwing show winning stock for a variety of disciplines from Dressage and Jumping to Eventing and Carriagedriving.
March 2010: Rosi securely arrived in West Sussex. All the best for the future!
