From his two first foalcrops he sired several site champions among others the reserve champion colt of the Danish foal championships in 2005.
Romanov is a direct full brother to the approved stallions Rumicello, Rubino Vincente, Premium stallion Rubin Action and the Main-premium-champion Rubin Royal who is himself competing successfully at I-1 at this point.
The mare family of Rudilore counts among the most secure and consolidated performance lines of Oldenburg breeding. The foundation mare herself was competing internationally in eventing under the sport name of Chica. After several approved stallion sons the jumper sons Conterno Grande and Couleur Rubin have got a lot of attention and positive press in recent years. The damline is also responsible for the approved stallions Tantris, Markgraf, Gio-Granno, Couleur Rouge, D-Day and Don Chico.
From Romanov's first foal crop three sons were accepted for the stallion approvals at Herning in 2007. He is approved for Denmark, Oldenburg, Hanover, Westfalia, Rhineland and all Southern German Verbands.
