Step by Step is a black, performance tested Hanoverian main marebook mare offered for sale in foal to Hotline.
Step by Step herself did her mare performance test on station at Verden finishing with an outright 8 on her interieur values (temperament, character, willingness to perform), 8 on her walk, trot and canter and a 7.67 on rideability with lose jumping scores rangeing from 7 to 9 with a total of 7.75!
Her dam Davina finished her mare performance test with a total of 8.06 including a 9 from the testrider and for her trot as well as 8's on her jumping (both manner and technique as well as scopy and ability) and rideability from the judges. Inspection scores of Step by Step were are all 7's except for an 8 on her head and one 6 on her hind limbs. Thus far Step by Step has produced three foals, a colt by Fürst Heinrich in 2007 and a filly by Hotline in 2008 (Hocus Pocus offered for sale here). Step by Step's 2009 colt Hex on The Beach sold through the Verden spring auction to a reknowned stallion owner.
For 2010 she is in foal to the stunning Blue Hors Romanov.
Offered for sale in the course of stud reduction on the American end.
March 2010 update: We have taken Step by Step officially off the market for now so she can have her foal in quiet and decide who to breed her to for a later sale. Meanwhile if you are interested please don't hesitate to contact us as the plan is still to sell her. Could switch professions and return under saddle as well. But would have to hurry as she will otherwise be rebred for 2011.
April 2010 update: Have a look at her 2010 Blue Hors Romanov filly Royal Fortune!
May 2010: Back in foal to Romanov!
June 2010: Sold to South Africa! Congratulations to Charne and Jan on the purchase and sale!
May 2011: Step by Step gave birth to a lovely colt foal. Have a look at Rosario. Congratulations go out to Charne in RSA!
