Hamish was bought by our dear friend Alexandra at the Fayre Oaks 2009 with the intention to further his training and resell to the right person. He sticks around 14.1 and has been with his previous owner ever since weaning. Hamish is a true gem and is sure to turn heads with his jet black coat and beautiful markings. Competently trained under saddle by his young rider in Wales he is safe in traffic and handled himself extremely well at the Sale. His maternal siblings have been widely successful under saddle. Rarely have we seen such an impressive pony. Please check back for updates as this gelding is sure to commence his under saddle career with flying colors.
December 2009: Hamish has now been put to work again for a few weeks and hacks alone and in company. He is at this point a bit oversensitive to the leg so would suit a more experienced rider who can keep and raise his confidence level. As soon as the ground allows we are going to work him over small fences in order to improve his balance and use of the back.
