Sipsi's pedigree is full of champions. Sarnau Stud has been a bright star on the firmament of pony breeding worldwide. Sipsi was imported from Wales with the thought of breeding her in the 2011 season. However fate had something else planned for her and she was sold to a friend who is now offering her for sale due to some significant changes in her circumstances.
Sipsi has the most wonderful character and comes with superb, straight movement. She is sure to excell under saddle and has been sat on a few times as well as lose jumped twice.
Her sire Boston Bonaparte is widely known and popular in today's Section B breeding. Sipsi's dam Sarnau Serennu has been a great producer thus far. Two of her foals have been exported to Poland. Two are still with Sarnau Stud and clearly stamped by their famous ancestry. Granddam S. Solitaire is still alive and residing at Sarnau. She is a daughter of Sarnau Showman out of Sarnau Juno who has produced no less than 20 foals for the stud and was put to sleep in 1992 at the age of 28yrs.
Serennu's sire Cwrdycadno Cadfridog (RW overall champion in 1996) counts as one of the most prominent protagonists of modern Section B breeding and a son of S.Rheolwr who sadly died untimely.
Sarnau Showman won his class at the RW as a yearling and has left a wealth of fantastic ponies in both Section B and Partbred breeding.
Sipsi was never bred and is unshown to date. She sells with an option to keep boarded on our farm and could go on either under saddle or in harness. Would make a fantastic broodmare to produce smalls as well! Sipsi is scheduled to train to drive in the spring.
